  • Yes, a membership includes specialized training, coaching calls, and a peer-to-peer network to help you grow no matter what your needs are.

  • Yes, we have a talented team of coaches as well as a great peer-to-peer network that will provide you with all the resources you need to grow.

What happens during a typical day at a CareHosts business?

  • Hosts will follow a routine based on the needs of the people in their care. With proper training a Host may dispense medicine, help with basic daily hygiene, cook meals, and take charge of any planned activities or outings.

What is the growth potential for a CareHosts host home?

  • More and more people want additional full-time care options that don’t involve moving into a nursing home. Because it’s not a medical facility, your CareHosts can also be run for fewer expenses than a nursing home making it a prime candidate for growth as the population that needs care expands.

What kind of background or education will I need to get started?

  • To get started as a host with CareHosts simply fill out our simple assessment and we will help you decide if hosting a person in need is for you.

What is a CareHosts?

  • A host residence for persons requiring care or supervision. There is currently an increasing need for host homes and there are many individuals who can help meet these needs while providing a mutually beneficial relationship.

What are long-term care services?

  • Long Term Care services encompasses the broad range of paid and unpaid medical and personal care assistance that people may need – for several weeks, months, or years – when they experience difficulty completing self-care tasks as a result of aging, chronic illness, or disability.

What zoning and licensing requirements must my home meet, do I need to have those taken care of ahead of time?

  • When you get started with CareHosts our team of experts takes the headache out of this process for you. Once you get started with us, we will walk you through all the necessary steps.

  • Yes, as long as a host maintains their membership, CareHosts will take all the worry and stress out of ensuring you have the right licensing for the location you are hosting in, as well as connect you with capable insurance companies that provide insurance for CareHosts host homes.

Are there tax incentives or financial incentives available?

  • Depending on the State you live in and the types of services you provide. As part of our membership program we help you find a number of tax incentives, grants, scholarships and specialized business loans to help you get started.

Will I need to provide care or just host a place to live?

  • When you sign up with CareHosts we offer an assessment to find the right situation for you to host. You will be matched up with candidates that meet your criteria, ultimately you will have the final say of who is placed in your home.

How can I trust that my loved ones will be cared for properly?

Do you offer any support for caregivers that are not CareHosts hosts?

  • When a caregiver who is not a CareHosts host joins our membership training program we provide coaching, training access to advancement opportunities.

Can I be a CareHosts host on my own or will I need a team / employee?

  • CareHosts can help you succeed whether you are a sole proprietor with a single resident or have a team of employees and a number residents in your home. Our hosts have access to resources and support through CareHosts membership training.

What if I want to take a vacation?

Vacations and time off would depend on the care plan of the resident you accept.
